Michael White, who is the climate editor at Nature, also hosts a regular podcast on climate science and climate scientists called 'Forecast'. Most episodes are structured as long-format personal interviews, and have featured some of the top researchers in the field, including Gavin Schmidt, Gabi Hegerl, Bette Otto-Bliesner and more.
For his latest episode, Micheal apparently decided to change gears somewhat, and invited someone much less prominent in the field - me!
I've met Micheal a few years ago and have had the chance to complete a few reviews at his request over at Nature. So I really enjoyed the opportunity to talk about tree rings, science presentations, music in science outreach, and a few other of my favorite things.
The interview runs a little more than an hour, and is online at http://forecastpod.org/index.php/2016/09/16/scott-st-george-on-tree-rings/.
